Ok first things first..BEOWULF. One of my top 5 things of all time. I was a pretty big fan of the movie. We went and saw it in 3-D the day it came out, and it was very exciting for all of us. I guess the best part was constantly talking about Beowulf for the three weeks proceeding the release of the movie. See I was trying to roleplay a minstrel going around telling the tale of Beowulf for my friends so they would be as excited as I would. It worked and I feel like we all had a pretty good time. (Pictured: Fingolfin. Much more bad ass, waiting on Silmarillion movie animated by Genndy Tartakovsky, because we all know that would be the most awesome thing that ever existed.)Other than that I finished another Frank Herbert book (Destination: Void) and it was pretty cool. I'm getting close to running out though, and that is a little scary. I'm reading Barefoot in the Head by Brian Aldiss right now. He is quickly becoming another of my favorite authors, thank god Riggs mentioned him almost every day in class. And speaking of which I am going to spend the rest of my week mentally preparing for the celebration of Dr. Don Riggs' birthday.
